Tips for Reducing Anxiety

  • Anxiety is normal in an uncertain situations so do not be hard on yourself.
  • Take control of what you can control i.e. your own behaviour and encourage family and friends to follow government advice.
  • When somebody expresses a concern about Coronavirus or any other issues listen to them and try to understand how they feel.  Try and avoid accusing them of over-reacting.
  • Self-isolation is not forever and your doing it to save lives, save the NHS and minimise the spread of this pernicious infection, so give yourself a pat on the back.
